Otro par de búhos de fieltro que he hecho para el trabajo...Estos también son parte de uno de nuestros kits navideños.
Another pair of owls that I have made for work...These ones are also part of one of our Christmas kits.

Búhos navideños - Christmas owls

Estos búhos de fieltro tan graciosos, los hice la semana pasada para el trabajo...
Es un kit que vendemos este año dentro de nuestra sección de navidad, para hacer tus propios adornos para el árbol. Pensé que estaría bien que la gente viera el resultado final... Todo el material está incluido en la caja, así que lo único que me hizo falta fue una aguja de coser y pegamento. No sé si es porque están muy bien de precio o qué...pero desde que los colgué el otro día, ¡se venden como churros!.
I made these cute felt owls last week for work...They are a kit that we sell this year as part of our Christmas range, to make your own Christmas tree decorations. I thought it would be nice if people could see the finish project...
All materials are included in the box, so I only needed a sewing needle and some glue. I don't know if it is because of the price, but since I displayed them the other day...they are selling like hot cakes!

Caja navideña - Christmas box

Esta caja la hice las Navidades pasadas para guardar todos los papeles, cartulinas, lazos, etc... que utilizo para hacer mis tarjetas de Navidad. Para hacerla no usé más que una caja de zapatos, tela, fieltro y lazo que tenía por casa, ¡y mucho pegamento!. El adorno de madera en forma de árbol de navidad, lo reciclé del envoltorio de un regalo de otro año...

I made this box last Christmas to keep all the papers, cards, ribbons, etc... that I use to make my Christmas cards. To make it I used a shoe box, fabric, felt and ribbon that I had at home, and lots of glue!. I recycled the wooden Christmas tree topper from a gift wrap of a present from a previous year...

¡Mis tijeras de costura! - My sewing scissors!

Parecen compradas en Cath Kidston...pero no lo son. ¡Estas fundas para tijeras las he hecho! Con un poco de fieltro que tenía por casa, unos botones, e hilo de bordar, he encontrado la solución perfecta (¡y muy bonita!) para que no se me despunten las tijeras dentro del costurero...

They look like they could have been bought in Cath Kidston...but they haven't. These scissor covers have been made by myself! With a little bit of felt that I had at home, some buttons and some embroidery threats, I have found the perfect solution (and a very pretty one!) to stop my

scissors from getting damaged in the sewing basket...

Cinta Métrica - Tape Measure

¡Ésta siempre la llevo en el bolso! Venía gratis con una de las revistas que me traigo del trabajo, pero era un poco simple (de plástico verde...), así que la he forrado de fieltro. ¡Ahora es mucho más bonita y original!. La flor y el círculo van pegados y el resto va cosido a mano. El botón es una tachuela de un cinturón que venía con unos pantalones que me compé... Al apretarlo, la cinta métrica se enrrolla sola. Creo que tardé unos 10 minutos en acabarlo todo...

I always carry this one in my handbag! I got it for free with one of the magazines I usually get from work, but it was a bit too simple (just made out of green plastic...), so I covered it with felt. Now it looks much nicer and original! I glued the flower and the green circle and hand-stitched the rest. The button is a stud from a belt that came with a pair of trousers that I bought a while ago... When I press it, the tape measure rolls itself up. I think it took me about 10 minutes to finish it all...

iDeal para el iPod - iDeal for the iPod

Esto lo hice hace casi dos años, pero tenía que ponerlo en mi blog... Es una funda de fieltro para que el iPod no se me arañe dentro del bolso. Tal vez a Apple le guste mi diseño...

I made this nearly two years ago, but I had to post it in my blog...It is a felt cover for my iPod so it doesn't get scratch inside my handbag. Apple might like my design...

Después de mucho recortar y coser, el sábado pasado por fin terminé los 60 broches para la boda de James y Lucy. Este es el resultado final...

Broches Lulú - Lulú brooches

Estos son tres broches que hice hace unos meses como modelo para uno de mis encargos. Los he llamado "broches Lulú" en honor a mi amiga Lucy, que es la que me los encargó para su boda el próximo mes de marzo. Se los va a dar a sus invitadas como recuerdo de su gran día. Los broches son de fieltro y los botones de Fimo. ¡Todo hecho a mano, por supuesto!.

These are three brooches that I made a few months ago as samples for an order. I've called them "Lulú brooches" in honour to my friend Lucy, who asked me to make them for her wedding next March. She's going to give them to her female guests as wedding favours. The brooches are made of felt and the buttons are made of Fimo. Everything is hand made, of course!
