Estos paños los he hecho con un trozo de felpa que tenía por casa y unos retales de tela... ¡Creo que nos van a ser muy útiles en los próximos meses!

Bolsa para pinzas - Pegs bag

Esta bolsa para pinzas me la ha encargado nuestro amigo Simon para su madre...Él eligió la tela y yo copié el diseño de la que yo tengo en casa de Cath Kidston. Como me había dicho que quería que pusiera la palabara 'pinzas' en la bolsa, se la he bordado a punto de cruz como si fuera un pequeño delantal.
Our friend Simon asked me to make this pegs bags for his mum...He chose the fabric and I copied the design from the Cath Kidston one that I have at home. As he had asked me to put the word 'pegs' in it, I have cross-stitched it as if it was a little apron.

Decoraciones de boda - Wedding decorations

 

Ayer en el trabajo me pidieron que decorara un buzón de correos de cartón y un árbol blanco para ponerlos en nuestra sección de bodas y que los clientes se inspiren. Sólo me dieron una pauta: los colores debían ser marfil y dorado...¡así que esto es lo que se me ha ocurrido!
La verdad es que no ha sido un proyecto rápido (me ha llevado casi todo el día), pero lo he disfrutado un montón... Creo que han quedado muy bonitos.
Yesterday I was asked at work to decorate a papier maché post box and a white tree for our wedding section so customers can get inspired. They only gave me one instruction: the colours had to be ivory and gold...so this is what I came up with!
I have to say that it hasn't been a quick project (it has taken me most of the day), but I have enjoyed a lot...I think they have turned up really beautiful.

Cesta navideña - Christmas basket

Esta cesta la he decorado para guardar en un mismo sitio todas las tarjetas de Navidad que voy haciendo...Creo que no sólo es práctica, ¡sino también muy bonita!

I decorated this basket to keep in one place all the Christmas cards that I make...I think is not just practical, but very beautiful too!

Bota de Navidad - Christmas stocking

Esta botita tan graciosa se la hice el mes pasado a la sobrina de Alex para sus primeras Navidades. El nombre va bordado a punto de cruz, y para poder realizarlo utilicé un trozo de cañamazo sobre la tela de la bota.

El corazón y la estrella también los hice yo; están hechos de Fimo Air Light de color blanco, al cual di forma con unas planchas de relieve y unos moldes para galletas.

I made this cute Christmas stocking last month for Alex's niece's first Christmas. I cross-stitched her name and, to do so, I used a piece of waste canvas on top of the stocking fabric.

I also made the heart and the star myself; they are made of white Fimo Air Light, which I shaped using some embossing pads and a couple of cookie cutters.
