Chichonera de coches - Cars cot bumper

Esta chichonera la he hecho para la cuna que David tiene en casa de su abuela Kathy. Su abuela le compró esta funda nórdica de coches tan graciosa y un almohadón, y como no vendían la chichonera a juego, decidimos comprar otra funda nórdica igual y usar la tela para hacerla. Tanto la funda como la chichonera son reversibles.

I have made this bumper for the cot that David has at his grandma Kathy's house. His grandma bought this cute cars duvet cover and pillowcase, and as they don't sell a matching cot bumper, we decided to buy one more duvet cover and use the fabric to make it. Both the duvet cover and the bumper are reversible.

Chichonera y faldón para cuna - Cot bumper and skirt

Esta chichonera y este faldón los hice para la cuna de David hace unos meses. La chichonera la hice más larga de lo normal ya que David se mueve mucho por la noche. Para ello utilicé tela de algodón y guata, y los lazos los hice con bies blanco.  
I made these bumper and skirt a few months ago for David's cot bed. I made the bumper extra long as David moves a lot during the night. To make it I used cotton fabric and wadding, and to make the ties I used white bias binding.

Mis primeros patucos - My first booties

Este es un cuadro que le he hecho a David con sus primeros patucos... El fondo es de tela de lunares, su nombre está escrito con pegatinas de fieltro y la cinta de algodón la he estampado yo misma utilizando sellos acrílicos. Los patucos están sujetos con un alfiler y el botón va pegado.
This is a frame that I have put together for David with his first booties... For the back I have used polka dot fabric and for his name I have used felt alphabet stickers. I have stamped the cotton tape myself using acrylic stamps and I have fixed the booties with sewing pins. For the button I have used glue dots.

Letras de tela - Fabric letters

Estas letras las hice para la habitación de David el pasado agosto, justo antes de que naciera... Los materiales que utilicé fueron: letras de papel maché, telas variadas, guata, cartulina y ¡mucha cola blanca!
I made these letters  for David's nursery last August just before he was born...The materials that I used were: papier mache letters, assorted fabrics, wadding, card and a lot of white glue!

Pañalera de animalitos - Animal nappy stacker

Esta es la pañalera que le hice a Inés, la niña de mis amigos Laura y Sergio, que nació el mes de julio. En cuanto ví la tela pensé en ellos, ya que me habían dicho que iban a decorar la habitación de la niña en blanco y no querían telas de color rosa. Además, con un papá veterinario, pensé que sería ideal para Inés, con todos esos animalitos de granja tan graciosos.
Con la tela que me sobró pude hacerles unas cuantas cositas más, así que también les mandé una bolsa de cordones, otra bolsita más pequeña con cremallera, un sujetapuertas y una toalla de capucha.
La última foto está hecha en la habitación de Inés, y me la mandó Laura cuando recibieron el regalo.
This is the nappy stacker that I made for Inés, my friends Laura and Sergio's daughter who was born in July. As soon as I saw the fabric I thought of them, as they had told me they were going to decorate the nursery in white and they didn't want pink fabrics. Moreover, with a dad who is a vet, I thought it would be ideal for Inés, with all those cute little farm animals.
With the spare fabric I managed to make a few more things, so I also sent them a drawstring bag, a little bag with a zip, a door stopper and a hooded towel.
The last photo was taken in Inés' nursery. Laura sent it to me when they received the present.
