This is the invitation I have made this year for my 30th birthday. It is a big occasion, so I am going to celebrate it with a good party with all my family and friends!

¡Mi 30 cumpleaños! - My 30th Birthday!
Más de la colección Hampstead - More of the Hampstead collection
Peter Rabbit!
I made this cute bib for Jesús -my friend María José's son- when he was born last year. I cross-stitched the image and cut and sewed the bib by hand myself.

¡Feliz 30 Cumpleaños Alex! - Happy 30th Birthday Alex!
¡Un regalito!- A little present!
I made this card for my friend Laura's birthday last year...The papers I used are from the Hampstead collection, by Papermania, and I bought them at work.
¡Todo a juego! - Everything matches!
I made this nappy stacker for my friend Caty when Sofía was born. I had some spare fabric, so I also made her a little bag for the baby wipes. Recently Caty asked me to make her a duvet cover for the cot, a little pillow and an edging for the curtains in Sofía's bedroom...all matching!
Una muñeca rusa - A Russian doll
¡La llegada de Nikola! - Nikola's arrival!
This is the card and the gifts that I put together a couple of years ago now, when Nikola, my friends Kasia and Krzys' daughter was born. I cross-stitched the bib and cover the basket myself with pink ribbon, white fabric and white lace. I was just finishing the basket when Kasia texted me to let me know that Nikola was a few weeks earlier and had just been born...I took it to the hospital that very same afternoon!
Dulces de cumpleaños 2010 - Birthday sweets 2010
¡Invitación de cumpleños 2010! - Bithday party invitation 2010
These are the invitations that I made last year for my birthday, when I invited my girl friends (and her little ones...) home for afternoon coffee and cake...
San Valentín 2011 - Valentine's Day 2011
These are the presents and the card that I made for Alex for this year's Valentine's Day. I made the wrapping paper myself with an ink pad and a Cupid rubber stamp that I got for free at work. The cupcakes were chocolate flavour with whipped cream on top.
Bolsa para agujas de tejer - Knitting neddles bag
I made this bag last year for my sister Ana, for her knitting neddles, so she can keep them tidy and can carry them everywhere...I bought the fabric on the winter sales at work last year, and I thought it would be perfect for her, as it has got a certain vintage style... she loves that...
Caty's baby shower!
I made all of these things last year for my friend Caty's baby shower before she had Sofía...I made the bunting out of paper and the cupcakes were vanilla flavour with pink icing and glitter on top...The cake wasn't edible but it was very useful!
¡Cebra! - Zebra!
I made this card for Jesús, my friend María José's son. His first birthday was last September...I thought it was very cute and very appropriate, as his present was a zebra shaped bag to put his little pyjamas in.
Bandeja Cath Kidston - Cath Kidston tray
I made this tray for my mum this summer during the holidays. I bought it not painted in her local craft shop. It has got glass and the wooden base is removable. I used white acrylic paint to paint it and also acrylic varnish. Between the glass and the wooden base I placed a piece of oil cloth that I had bought in Cath Kidston. Very cheerful and summery! Ideal for having coffee in the balcony!
Tarta de chocolate y canela - Chocolate and cinnamon cake
I had never tried this recipe before, but from now on I am going to make it more often. Chocolate and cinnamon go very well together... The filling is cream and damsons jam. Really nice as an afternoon snack!
Cinta Métrica - Tape Measure
I always carry this one in my handbag! I got it for free with one of the magazines I usually get from work, but it was a bit too simple (just made out of green plastic...), so I covered it with felt. Now it looks much nicer and original! I glued the flower and the green circle and hand-stitched the rest. The button is a stud from a belt that came with a pair of trousers that I bought a while ago... When I press it, the tape measure rolls itself up. I think it took me about 10 minutes to finish it all...
