Cojines de verano - Summer cushions

Estos cojines los compré el año pasado y venían con unas fundas de punto de ochos...Están muy bien para el invierno, pero para el verano necesitaba algo más fresquito, así que les he hecho estas sencillas fundas de algodón blanco con botones de nácar.
I bought these cushions last year. They came with cable knit covers. They are are very good for the winter, but for the summer I needed something a bit cooler, so I have made them these simple white cotton covers with mother-of-pearl buttons.

Zapatos - Shoes

Con tela de lunares, un pincel y mucho pegamento... ahora mis cajas de zapatos son mucho más bonitas que antes y se lucen mucho más en el armario. Buena idea que se me ocurriera lo de las "foto-etiquetas", ya que antes siempre acababa abriendolas casi todas, hasta que encontraba los zapatos que anaba buscando...
With polka dot fabric, a paint brush and lots of glue...now my shoe boxes are much prettier than before, and they look much better in my wardrobe. Good idea that I came up with the 'photo-labels', as before I always used to end up opening nearly all of them before I could find the shoes I was looking for...

Mini muffins

Llevan trocitos de chocolate y mermelada de fresa casera (hecha con fresas de nuestra huerta...). ¡Son muy ligeros y están buenísimos!. Los hice ayer después del trabajo con la misma receta que uso para hacer los de tamaño normal, sólo que en este caso los moldes son más pequeños.
They have chocolate chips and homemade strawberry jam (with strawberries from our allotment...). They are very light and so good! I made them yesterday after work with the same recipe I use to make the full size ones, only that this time the cases are smaller.

Pañalera - Nappy stacker

Mermelada de ruibarbo - Rhubarb jam

¡Otra tanda de mermelada casera!. Esta es de ruibarbo con naranja y jengibre...y es mi favorita.
El ruibarbo es de nuestra huerta (las naranjas, el jengibre fresco y el azúcar los compro en el supermercado). Los papelitos que cubren los tarros son de Cath Kidston, y venian en un kit que me regaló Alex el invierno pasado.
Another batch of homemade jam! This one is rhubarb, orange and ginger...and it's my favorite.
The rhubarb is from our allotment (I buy the oranges, root ginger and sugar from the supermarket). The papers on top of the jars are from Cath Kidston, and they were part of a kit that Alex bought me last winter.

Babero con el autobús de Londres - London bus bib

Este babero tan mono se lo he hecho a mi ahijado Joseph. Cuando ví la tela, no pude resistir a comprarla: es tan graciosa...
I have made this cute bib for my godson Joseph. When I saw the fabric I couldn't resist buying it: it is just perfect for a little one...

Dos en uno - Two in one

Esta bolsa que le he hecho a mi suegra Kathy es muy práctica, ya que no sólo es para guardar la ropa interior cuando se va de viaje...¡sino que además lleva un bolsillo con una bolsa de cordonoes para la ropa sucia!. La hice el otro día sobre la marcha, sin patrón ni nada...pero la verdad es que ha quedado bastante bien.
This bag that I have made for my mother in law Kathy is very practical, as not only can she keep underwear inside while travelling, but it also has a pocket with a drawstring bag for the dirty clothes!. I made it the other day without a pattern, but it has actually turned out quite nicely!
